Laurie J. Jenkins is the Vice President of the Mental Health Association for the Creative Wellness Coalition and is primarily responsible for overseeing the operation of the CWC. She welcomes new ideas for programs and is willing to meet people one on one for their suggestions, concerns and comments. Please call her to schedule an appointment. Sam maintains the mailing list, coordinates volunteers, and assists other staff members in coordinating and hosting programs, workshops, trainings and other events. Trish holds a Masters Degree in Art Therapy from Nazareth College as well as a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from SUNY Brockport. A few of Trish’s duties will be to assist guests in expressing emotion and exploring their problems using a wide range of art materials, enabling positive change and personal growth in recovery. The intention is not to focus on their artistic skills but the engagement in a creative personal process. She will be working in group settings as well as with one-to-one individuals when requested.
